Stock Schlueter - (b. 1949) is a native California painter who has dedicated his painting career to the Northern California landscape. Schlueter paints the vineyards, valleys, farms, et al. of California in a delicate manner, keenly observing minute details and producing magnificent medium to large-scale results. His paintings are admired by many Nothern California painters and collectors who are often "taken aback" by his ability to re-create the mood, feeling, and temperature of the landscape we know so well.

Schlueter is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and has been showing works throughout the West Coast since the early 80's. John Pence has presented Schlueter in numerous group shows since 1997.

Schlueter's paintings range in size from small (16 x 26 inches) to much larger (46 x 92 inches); the focus of his work found in the medium to large size grouping. He works intensely and quickly, producing many works in short periods of time. John Pence Gallery always has his works on hand, but we do ask you to call in advance so that we may ready a presentation for your viewing. The pieces currently in our inventory range in price from $3,250 to $18,000.
