John Patrick Campbell - (b. 1975) is a young and talented artist who works out of San Francisco. Following his resoundingly successful Introductions 2001 exhibition with us, he has joined the gallery stable and participates actively in our numerous group shows.

In 2000-01, Campbell was featured in several national art publications including American Artist Magazine and Southwest Art. In late 2000 he won a major prize in American Artist Magazine's "National Art Competition." In 2003 he staged a solo show at the Strathmore Hall for the Arts in Maryland. He was recently one of ten artists invited by American Artist Magazine to paint at the Forbes mansion in London, England.

Campbell emerged from the art department at George Washington University where Frank Wright has a reputation for developing young talents. Campbell paints still lifes, florals and interiors with dash and panache. He chronicles his progress and age through a series of self-portraits; displaying a deft talent for the human figure and telling stories through references in the painting. He is confident and adventurous for such a young age and is surely marked for success.

Prices for Campbell's works range from $2,200 to $18,500, depending upon size and complexity. His collector base impressively covers clients across the country and includes several major works in the Forbes Magazine Collection in New York City. His next one-man exhibition with us will be in May of 2005.
